About us
Brisbane's family-owned air-conditioning specialists
Husky Air has helped Brisbane and Moreton Bay homes stay comfortable for years. We're not the biggest, and that's by design — it lets us focus on doing each job properly, with the kind of care you'd expect from a local family business.
Our story
When it comes to your cooling needs, you shouldn't have to settle for average. We started Husky Air to do things differently — to put the customer first, to recommend only the systems we'd put in our own homes, and to leave every job spotless.
Today we install, service and replace split systems across Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region, working with the brands we trust most: Daikin, Fujitsu and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
Areas we serve
We cover all of Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region, including:
- Brisbane CBD
- North Lakes
- Caboolture
- Morayfield
- Redcliffe
- Strathpine
- Chermside
- Burpengary
- Sandgate
- Albany Creek
Don't see your suburb? Get in touch — we likely cover it.

Compliance
Licensed to handle refrigerant gas
Working on air-conditioning systems means handling synthetic greenhouse gases. In Australia, that work is regulated by the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) — and only licensed technicians are legally permitted to do it.
Our ARC authorisation covers the full lifecycle of refrigerant work, including:
- • Installing and commissioning new split system air conditioners.
- • Servicing, leak testing and repairing existing systems.
- • Recovering, recycling and decanting refrigerant safely.
- • Decommissioning and removing systems at end of life.
You can verify any ARC licence at arctick.org. Always ask your installer for theirs — unlicensed work is illegal and can void your warranty and home insurance.
